About Adler's Foreign Books

Adler's Foreign Books is a major importer and distributor of foreign books in the United States. We import and supply titles in French, Spanish, German, and Italian. We carry textbooks, novels, anthologies in both prose and poetry, history and philosophy, as well as a wide selection of dictionaries, both traditional and technical. We have over 10,000 foreign titles with more than 25,000 books in stock!

Adler's Foreign Books has been committed to serving college faculty, bookstores, students and other individuals for over 50 years. We have a genuine dedication to our customers and try our best to provide you with efficient and reliable service.

Faculty Desk Copies

Adler's Foreign Books services well over 5,000 college faculty members a year. We will gladly provide one faculty desk copy at no charge for each of the texts being used as long as the bookstore buys 10 copies of each title and the title is a returnable item in our inventory. Please refer to our Desk Copy Policy for details.

Special Orders

Adler's Foreign Books is able to obtain any title in print in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Latin America, Brazil, and Canada. If we do not stock the title you request, we can import it from these countries in 2-4 weeks. Please inquire for specific import time and pricing.

Shipping Information

Adler's has access to all shipping companies and methods. In the event that our customer has no preference, we ship via UPS ground within one to two days of receiving an order provided the books are in stock.

Inquiries

Adler's Foreign Books is staffed by dedicated customer service representatives for each of the languages that we service. Our reps maintain frequent communication with foreign publishers to avoid delays with orders and better serve our customers. They are available to assist in research, and will respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
